It is only 21 days to go to DEAFvibe's first "See Me, Hear Me" Deaf Day event during Deaf Awareness Week!

This event is being held at Stoke City Football Club, Britannia Stadium - just off the A50 and easily accessible via the M6 (J15), A500 and A34.  Entrance to the event is free of charge for members of the public and there is plenty of free car parking!

Challenge North Staffs is an organisation which aims to promote the reporting of Hate Crime in the North Staffordshire area.

  Our mission is to “work towards the elimination of hate incidents in North Staffordshire to enable all members of the community to live in peace, free from fear and from hate, abuse or discrimination.”

Hate Crime is defined as any criminal offence committed against a person or their property that is motivated by hatred of someone because of their:

 

 

 

  • Race, colour, ethnic origin, nationality or national origin
  • Religion or belief
  • Gender or sexual identity
  • Sexual orientation
  • Disability (including disability due to mental health) 
  • Age

 

Hate Crime can take many forms and can include physical attacks, damage to property, theft, offensive graffiti, threats, intimidation and bullying.
